School life

Beyond academic study, Miras helps students grow through leadership opportunities, music education, personal and social development, inclusive support, and a strong safety culture. These experiences shape confident, balanced learners.

Students are encouraged to lead, collaborate, and act responsibly

The Leadership Programme encourages students to be inquisitive, creative, collaborative, and independent. It is designed to help them become active and responsible citizens in Kazakhstan and the wider world.

The elected Student Council gives learners a formal way to represent their peers, build initiative, and participate in school decision-making.

Music education happens inside the school day and beyond it

The Children's Music School offers a five-year track in piano, dombra, violin, and vocal, leading to a state-recognised certificate.

Younger learners can also join the Music Studio or Early Musical Development groups for stage confidence, ensemble work, and artistic growth.

A safe educational environment is treated as a core school promise

Miras aligns with child protection recommendations, maintains emergency and fire safety procedures, and works with authorised state agencies and international accreditors to verify standards.

Medical support is delivered by a team that includes a pediatrician, nurses, and a nutrition specialist, with licensed medical rooms and preventive care processes across the school.

  • Regular safety briefings and emergency response preparation
  • Psychological and pedagogical support throughout the learning journey
  • Food quality oversight, first aid, and anti-epidemic measures

Learning support helps every student grow with dignity and challenge

The Learning Support Centre works from a strong belief in inclusion. It provides psychological support, learning service, and SEN support, while also extending opportunities for students ready for additional challenge.

Leadership is taught as a set of habits and choices

The Leadership Programme describes students as inquisitive, critical and creative thinkers who learn to make independent decisions and value collaboration.

Participation is designed to help students become active and responsible citizens in Kazakhstan and the wider world.

Student voice is organised, elected, and active

The Student Council exists to develop initiative, independence, responsibility, and social engagement while giving students a real role in solving school-related issues.

It is made up of an elected president and committee chairs chosen by student vote.

Licensed on-campus medical support for daily school life

The school's medical team includes a pediatrician, nutrition manager, and dedicated nurses for both pre-school and school divisions. Support is delivered through licensed medical rooms, procedure rooms, massage rooms, isolation wards, and a physiotherapy room in pre-school.

  • Promote healthy lifestyles and preventive care
  • Monitor health, physical development, nutrition, and hygiene standards
  • Provide first aid, organise preventive measures, and support anti-epidemic procedures

Additional education for cultural, social, and academic growth

The Centre for Harmonics supports students beyond core lessons through additional education that responds to their interests and helps strengthen cultural, social, personal, and academic development.
