Admissions

Miras keeps the admissions process straightforward: connect with the school, visit the campus, complete age-appropriate assessment, collect the required documents, and finalise the agreement. Families receive guidance at each step.

The best first step is to experience the school in person

Miras invites families to visit the campus and see classrooms, specialist spaces, and the overall atmosphere. The visit is also the simplest way to understand where your child would study each day.

Admissions Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 to 17:00.

Age-appropriate assessment helps ensure the right fit

  • Kindergarten and Grades 0–1: conversation with a psychologist, speech therapist, and primary teacher
  • Grades 2–4: testing in Russian language and mathematics
  • Grades 5–11: testing in Russian, English, and mathematics
  • DP 1–2: testing in English and mathematics

Transparent annual tariffs for school, pre-school, and diploma study

Published 2026–2027 tariffs show separate pricing for local and overseas families, with distinct rates for pre-school, grade bands, the Diploma Programme, and the French School pathway. Payment schedules, early payment discounts, and sibling discounts are clearly outlined.

Uniform guidance for primary and secondary students

School uniform is compulsory for all students and is presented with distinct item combinations for primary and secondary school learners, including polos, bombers, jackets, skirts, and burgundy trousers.

Pricing depends on size and typically ranges from 42,000 to 67,000 KZT, with ordering handled through the school's supplier in Astana.

Handbooks, newsletters, and key parent information in one place

The parent information area brings together practical school-facing documents for pre-school, primary, and secondary families, including handbooks and newsletters.

This section keeps those core reference points visible, while the official resource links remain available directly from the school and its document platforms.

Regular school newsletters covering academics, events, and community updates

School newsletters are published regularly and cover academic news, upcoming events, student achievements, and community announcements across all school divisions.

Browse the newsletter archive to stay informed about life at Miras throughout the academic year.

Timely notices and updates from the school administration

Official school announcements include schedule changes, event invitations, policy updates, and other important notices that families need to know about promptly.

Parent and student handbooks for every school division

Each school division — pre-school, primary, and secondary — publishes a handbook that covers policies, expectations, daily routines, and practical guidance for families.

Handbooks are updated annually and serve as the primary reference for school rules, assessment practices, and communication protocols.

Weekly cafeteria menus and nutritional information

The school cafeteria serves balanced meals tailored to each age group, from pre-school to secondary students.

Weekly menus are published in advance and include options for dietary requirements. The cafeteria team works with a nutrition specialist to ensure healthy, varied meals throughout the school year.
